VOLCANO

El Hierro Volcano Eruption

Update 19/10 – 15:47 UTC The total number of earthquakes has increased to 7  in about 2 hours time. The 3 additional earthquakes had values of 1.8, and 2 times 1.5.  Another important element to notice is that we noticed today 2 shallower earthquakes, respectively 7.9 and 9.6 km deep. This did not happen anymore since October 10.
The initial shallow quakes started on October 9 and ended on October 10 and were often only a few 100 meter deep, typical for volcanic earthquakes.Harmonic tremors were almost constant all day long.To conclude, we are far away from the October 9 / 10 conditions, but earthquakes are not over yet.

LONDON MARKETS

Top 10 London Markets

London markets sell everything from food to flowers, modern art to antiques, clothes to curiosities. Large, sprawling markets such as Spitalfields, Camden Market or Portobello Road are ideal if you want to spend a day wandering about, hopefully finding a few bargains along the way. Greenwich is great for gifts and local designers, and you can't beat Borough for a quick bite. Whatever your pleasure, you'll love London's markets.

THE UNITED KINGDOM

>The United Kingdom

This is an abbreviation of 'the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland'. It is often further abbreviated to 'UK', and is the political name of the country which is made up of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland (sometimes known as Ulster). Several islands off the British coast are also part of the United Kingdom (for example, the Isle of Wight, the Orkneys, Hebrides and Shetlands, and the Isles of Scilly), although the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man are not. However, all these islands do recognize the Queen.
